I'm sorry, but do pardon this budding filmmaker who has yet to make a film herself, BUT what is the whole hoo-ha on "Becoming Royston"?

I admit that I'm kind of slow in catching on this phenomena, considering how much I've heard about it from my girlfriend. We've recently missed the movie release which Shu Hui insisted that it should be better than the episodes posted on the Web. I don't think it's any loss. The web episodes failed to capture my attention. The content was dry, some shots are too long and I can't pardon bad acting, especially when there was so much hype created!

In contrast, "MirrorMask" is awesome! Great parallel of fantasy and reality, great shots, awesome editing, great effects and wonderful use of colours! I can fully understand why Rachel loves this movie! Which makes me question why it wasn't properly released on our big screens? Or did I miss it?
